NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE DOES NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER, A LEGAL U.S. RESIDENT CURRENTLY RESIDING in AZ, NV, OR or WA AND HAVE INTERNET ACCESS AS OF 3/1/10 TO ENTER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

1. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Heineken Coachella Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”), log on to www.heineken.com between 12:00:01 a.m. PT on 3/1/10 and 11:59:59 p.m. PT on 4/18/10 and complete an Official Entry Form, including your name, email address, mailing address and telephone number All entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. PT on 4/18/10 to qualify for the Sweepstakes. Proof of entry submission does not equate to proof of receipt by Heineken USA Inc. (“Sponsor”). Limit one (1) entry per person. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete entries which shall be disqualified. All entries become the sole and exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be returned or acknowledged. No facsimile, mechanical reproduced, altered or forged entries. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final, binding and conclusive on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes starts at 12:00:01 a.m. PT on 3/1/10 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on 4/18/10. 

2. PRIZE/ODDS: GRAND PRIZE (1): One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a trip for two (2) adults to the 2011 Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California. Trip includes round-trip coach airfare for winner and guest (who must be 21 years of age or older) from the major airport nearest winner's residence (chosen by Sponsor) to a major airport near Palm Springs, California; 5-day/4-night hotel accommodations (standard room, double occupancy; hotel to be chosen by Sponsor); airport/hotel transfers in Palm Springs, California; two (2) 3-day VIP passes to the 2011 Coachella Music Festival dates to be announced; and $300 spending money which may be used for travel from the hotel to the event. Spending money will be awarded in the form of a check made payable to Grand Prize winner. Winner and guest must travel on same itinerary and must be able to travel from during festival dates  (to be announced) or prize will be forfeited. If Grand Prize winner resides within 100 miles of Indio, California, round-trip ground transportation from Grand Prize winner's residence to the Coachella Music Festival may be substituted for airfare at Sponsor's sole discretion. Travel dates subject to change at Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen or unredeemed Coachella Music Festival passes, travel tickets or travel-related documentation. If potential Grand Prize winner cannot accept travel on dates specified, potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner will be randomly selected. Upon disqualification, no compensation will be awarded. Approximate Retail Value: $1,800; Actual Retail Value of prize may vary depending upon the city of departure. Any difference between Approximate Retail Value and Actual Value of prize will not be awarded. No part of any prize includes beer or alcoholic beverages. No substitutions or cash redemptions permitted except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Prize is non-transferable. Sponsor makes no warranty with respect to prize and is not responsible for flight cancellation, if any event or activity is delayed, postponed or cancelled for any reason,or postponement or weather conditions, in which event, that portion of the prize is forfeited in its entirety and no substitution will be provided, except in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Any unclaimed and/or unused portion of prize package will be forfeited and will not be substituted.  Grand Prize Trip winner and guest must have all necessary identification and/or travel documents (e.g. a valid U.S. Driver’s License, valid passport, etc.) required for travel.  Travel and accommodations subject to availability; certain restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Sponsor will report value of prize as required by law. Any expenses not expressly stated herein, including meals and gratuities, are the sole responsibility of the winner. All taxes, gratuities and unspecificed expenses are the sole responsibility of the winner. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Prize will be awarded if the number of eligible entries is equal to or greater than the number of prizes available. In case of unavailability of prize, Sponsor reserves the right to award a prize of equal or greater value. All air travel arrangements and hotel accommodations will be made by Sponsor, in its sole and absolute secretion, upon verification of eligibility and Coachella tickets and spending money will be delivered approximately two (2) weeks prior to travel. 

3. DRAWING: Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing to be held on or about 5/5/10 from all valid entries received. Winner will be contacted by telephone on or about 5/5/10 at the daytime number provided. If, after two (2) attempts, contact has not been made, prize will be forfeited and an alternate potential winner will be randomly selected. Fulfillment agent must reach potential winner; messages will not be left. 

4. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open only to legal U.S. residents currently residing in AZ, NV, OR or WA 21 years of age or older who have Internet access as of 3/1/10. Void where taxed, restricted or prohibited by law. Employees of Sponsor and its affiliated companies and agencies, and licensed alcohol beverage wholesalers and retailers, or members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate. Federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Prize winner may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Publicity Release and a Travel Release within fourteen (14) days of prize notification.Travel companion must be 21 years of age or older and must sign a Travel Release/Publicity Release within fourteen (14) days of prize notification. If the winner cannot be contacted within 14 calendar days of first notification attempt, if prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if winner rejects his/her prize or in the event of noncompliance with these Sweepstakes rules and requirements, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected from all remaining eligible entries.  Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.

5. RELEASE OF LIABILITY & PUBLICITY: Sponsor will have right to photograph winner. Entry into the Sweepstakes and acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use each winner’s name, image, picture, likeness, and city and state of residence for purposes of advertising, trade, publicity or promotion for no additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. By participating, entrants, winner and guests agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its advertising and promotions agencies, and their  respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever including without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in Sweepstakes, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.  Sponsor is not responsible if Sweepstakes cannot take place or if any prize cannot be awarded due to travel cancellations, delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism.

6. ADDITIONAL TERMS: In case of dispute as to the identity of any entrant, entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at time of entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Any potential winner may be requested to provide Sponsor with proof that such winner is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the winning entry.  Any other attempted form of entry is prohibited; no automatic, programmed; robotic or similar means of entry are permitted. Sponsor, its affiliates, partners and promotion and advertising agencies are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to enter the Sweepstakes, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading any materials in this Sweepstakes.  Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend this Sweepstakes should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Sponsor will select the winners from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or web site.  Sponsor may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor representatives.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

7. USE OF DATA: Sponsor will be collecting personal data about entrants online, in accordance with its privacy policy.  Please review the Sponsor’s privacy policy at http://www.heineken.com/usa/cc/responsibly/privacy.aspx.  By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants hereby agree to Sponsor’s collection and usage of their personal information and acknowledge that they have read and accepted Sponsor’s privacy policy.
